Your privacy matters. GenerationHealth.me is a small, independent Medicare and ACA insurance advisory operated by a single licensed broker in North Carolina. We are not a data broker, we do not run advertising networks, and we do not sell personal information — ever.

- Preferences you share — such as a county, plan type, or coverage concern — to help us provide relevant information
Technical information collected automatically:
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited, time on page, and navigation path through the site
- Approximate geographic location derived from IP address (city/state level — not precise)
- Referring URL (the page that linked you to our site)
We do not collect Social Security numbers, dates of birth, banking information, or medical records through this website. Sensitive enrollment data is handled through secure, CMS-approved platforms only. See Section 3 below for details.
How We Use Your Information
Information we collect is used only to operate GenerationHealth.me and to provide the services you request. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing or sell it to data brokers.

GenerationHealth.me does not require sensitive personal information to access educational content, use our comparison tools, or get a quote estimate.
Do not send Social Security numbers, dates of birth, banking or financial account numbers, passwords or login credentials, or medical records or diagnosis information through any form, email, or chat on this site.
These are never required to compare plans or get a quote. Enrollment requiring sensitive information is handled through secure, CMS-approved carrier portals or official government platforms only.
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with advertisers. The following limited sharing occurs solely to operate this website and comply with legal requirements:
- Service providers: Hosting, analytics, form processing, and security vendors who help operate the site. These vendors are contractually prohibited from using your information for their own purposes.
- Insurance carriers: If you request a quote or initiate enrollment, relevant information is shared with the specific carrier(s) involved in that transaction — only to fulfill your request.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or a regulatory request from NC Department of Insurance or other applicable authorities.
- Business transition: In the unlikely event of a business sale or transfer, information may pass to the successor entity subject to equivalent privacy protections.
We never sell your data. We never rent your contact information to lead generation companies. We never share your details with carriers you did not ask about.

Data Retention & Security
We retain contact information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by NC Department of Insurance record-keeping requirements for licensed agents — typically five years for client-related records.
We use industry-standard technical measures to protect information in our systems: encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews. No data transmission over the internet is guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to this page. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We will not retroactively reduce protections for personal information you submitted under a prior version of this policy without your consent.
